Got to spend some time with NSAF over the last month or two. At first they were able to hide their “tin foil hat” reputation in check. Alas, the org is still full of hard core right wingers that continue to live on planet earth 2 with their ridiculous beliefs that the USA is some sort of socialist paradise that can only be fixed with a strong dose of fascism. Weird maga extremist they mostly are, shunning basic medical practices, claiming the covid vaccine caused their friends to die, claiming wearing medical mask during covid was tyranny, and stocking up on home remedies from amazon. Stuff like drinking peroxide.
Of course their leader is a die hard putin lover claiming that the injustices experienced under socialists in France somehow justifies putin’s tough stance and the killing of thousands in Ukraine. Of course he(maverick) lost his cool when I suggested the majority of Americans did not want to be putin’s good buddy. Maverick suggested that I had yet to be awakened, a ridiculous notion straight out of project 2025 whereby once Americans realized how the so called deep state was controlling our lives that we would wakeup and realize that an authoritarian fascist dictatorship would be preferable.
No, despite the demands of the hard core right, a weird fascist movement, I will not be a party to their thirst to demand their friends be stripped of their rights. I for one will not willing walk to the gas chambers like appeasers of the past. Maga has promised blood and I believe them. I’ll be ready.
I cannot honestly recommend this org to any freedom loving soul. The wink, wink, nod, nod bullshit is only bearable for so long.
